CANCELLATION POLICY

Salon Policies – Please Read Before Booking ⸻ Appointment Reservations A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve all appointments. Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Please arrive on time to ensure you receive the full experience you booked. If this is your first visit, please plan to arrive a few minutes early. Appointment confirmations include directions, parking recommendations, and arrival instructions to help make your visit as smooth as possible. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their service shortened, modified, or rescheduled. Appointment fees still apply to the reserved appointment time. ⸻ Cancellations, Reschedules & No-Shows As a solo esthetician, every appointment is personally reserved and prepared specifically for you. When an appointment is missed or canceled without adequate notice, that time is rarely able to be filled and directly impacts my small business. • Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. • No-shows or missed appointments without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. Your card on file will automatically be charged for all applicable cancellation and no-show fees. If your card cannot be processed, an invoice will be sent to the email address on file. Outstanding balances must be paid before booking privileges are restored. Clients with unpaid invoices will be unable to schedule appointments online until their balance has been paid in full. Repeated cancellations, no-shows, unpaid balances, or abuse of the scheduling system may result in refusal of future bookings. ⸻ Service Changes Please book the service you intend to receive. Appointment time is reserved specifically for the service selected at the time of booking. Changes to a shorter or lower-priced service within 24 hours of your appointment, or upon arrival, are not permitted. The originally booked service price will be charged. If you would like to upgrade your appointment, I will gladly accommodate the request whenever my schedule allows. ⸻ Preparing For Your Appointment Every service has different preparation requirements. Please carefully review all appointment reminders, confirmation emails, and pre-service instructions before arriving for your appointment. Certain treatments require specific preparation, such as allowing hair to grow to the appropriate length before waxing, avoiding contraindicated skincare products or medications before facial treatments, or arriving with clean lashes for lash services. Please notify me prior to your appointment of any changes to your health history, medications, pregnancy status, allergies, recent cosmetic procedures, or skin conditions, as these may affect your treatment. Following your pre-care and aftercare instructions is one of the biggest factors in achieving beautiful, long-lasting results. ⸻ UV Lash Fill Policy UV-cured lash extensions provide exceptional retention, but they do not change your natural lash growth cycle. Your natural lashes continue to grow and shed every day, meaning your extensions naturally shed with them. For the healthiest natural lashes and the best overall retention, I recommend scheduling fills every 2 weeks. Clients scheduling closer to 3 weeks should reserve a 90-minute fill whenever possible. This allows adequate time to safely remove outgrown extensions, replace naturally shed lashes, and restore fullness without rushing your appointment. The fuller and denser your lash style, the more maintenance it requires. Mega Volume and fuller lash lines naturally require more time than lighter lash styles. Appointments scheduled beyond 3 weeks, or appointments with excessive outgrowth or insufficient lash coverage, may require a Full Set at my professional discretion. My goal is for every client to leave with lashes that are healthy, balanced, and beautifully maintained. I’d rather recommend the appointment that gives us enough time to achieve exceptional results than rush through a service that doesn’t meet my standards. ⸻ Waxing Growth Cycle & Aftercare Consistency is the key to achieving the best waxing results. Hair grows in cycles, which is why most clients begin seeing smoother, longer-lasting results around their third consecutive wax appointment, once more hair follicles have synchronized into the same growth cycle. Shaving between appointments interrupts this process, resulting in uneven hair lengths and making it impossible for every hair to be ready for removal during the same appointment. Proper home care is just as important as your appointment. Regular exfoliation, daily moisturization, and following all recommended aftercare instructions help reduce ingrown hairs, irritation, breakage, and post-inflammatory pigmentation while improving your overall waxing results. Waiting until the day before your appointment to exfoliate or moisturize will not produce the same results as consistent maintenance between visits. Appointment times are scheduled to thoroughly remove hair that is ready to be waxed safely. Some hairs may still be too short or in a different stage of their growth cycle and may not release during your appointment. If you believe a noticeable area was unintentionally missed, please contact me within 48 hours so I can evaluate the area and, when appropriate, make it right. ⸻ Results, Retention & Touch-Ups Every client’s skin, lashes, brows, and hair respond differently to professional treatments. Results and longevity are influenced by many factors, including medications, hormones, health conditions, stress, lifestyle, skincare routine, home care, natural hair growth cycles, body chemistry, and compliance with recommended aftercare. This applies to all services, including: • UV Lash Extensions • Korean Lash Lifts • Hybrid Brow Stains • Brow Laminations • Facial Treatments • Waxing Services Because these factors vary from person to person, exact results and retention cannot be guaranteed. If you have concerns regarding your service, please contact me within 48 hours. Any adjustments or touch-ups are evaluated individually and remain at my professional discretion. ⸻ Refund Policy Due to the nature of professional beauty services, all services, deposits, memberships, gift cards, packages, and retail purchases are final. Retail products are not eligible for return or exchange. ⸻ Guests & Service Animals To provide every client with a relaxing, private experience, only clients receiving services are permitted in the treatment room. Service animals are always welcome in accordance with applicable law. ⸻ Right to Refuse Service Ethereal Spa & Beauty reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service when a treatment is determined to be unsafe, when contraindications are present, or when inappropriate, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or disrespectful behavior occurs. Future appointments may also be declined due to repeated late arrivals, excessive cancellations, repeated no-shows, unpaid balances, failure to follow established policies, or behavior that compromises the safety, comfort, or experience of myself or other guests.
